Hey all, I forgot to write yesterday that I can't put into words how much I appreciate your support, and so I am definitely not forgetting that today!
At our u/s this afternoon, we saw a beautiful cushy lining (11mm) and two perfect 16mm follicles (one on each side).
We have prayed and talked and prayed and talked, and we have decided to forego IVF this time. It is a disappointment, but we feel led to excitedly anticipate what God has in store for us, instead of what we thought would be our last cycle to try! We will trigger tomorrow night and give it the old roll in the hay with these two!!
By the grace of God and thanks to my A-M-A-Z-I-N-G husband, no tears have been shed today. It is a huge blessing to be married to my husband!! God will sustain us, and we are actually pretty excited to try on our own!! God has not written "The End"!!!!
If anything, I think it would be so freakin awesome to have a pregnancy come out of this "cancellation". I mean, talk about beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61)!!!!
I'm praying your roll in the hay produces 1 or 2 babies!!! That would be so awesome. I'm going to stay positive for you so enjoy the BD'ing and I pray you have a nice surprise. =)
ReplyDeleteThat would be a wonderful story! I love your attitude and you are always such an inspiration to me. Praying for you!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect conditions for a roll-in-the-hay baby!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this, but as always, your attitude amazes me. Don't give up! My canceled IUI cycle resulted in this pregnancy -- and that was with one good follicle. God is a God of miracles! Still hoping for you, friend.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the cancelled cycle..you seem to have a great attitude. I am rooting for that BFP this cycle!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the canceled IVF but I'm praying the ol' roll in the hay does the trick!! Happy Easter!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that would be awesome! Praying with you!
ReplyDeleteHUGS!
I'm sorry about your IVF...I will be praying that a baby results regardless! That would be so awesome! Your attitude is so inspiring:)
ReplyDeletei'm so sorry to hear the ER/ET was cancelled, but this cycle certainly isn't! hoping that old fashioned roll in the hay works it's magic! keeping everything crossed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hard decision. I hope things work out the old fashion way!
ReplyDeleteOur IVF may not happen at all. They said I had a low antral follicle count. More testing in store, we'll see.
Happy Easter!
I will be praying for you!
ReplyDeleteI was going to do an IUI, and then decided against it at the last minute, which was clearly from God. That was the month that it happened for me.
I believe that God does things like this all of the time, and He can bring wonderful things out of it.
I'm so sorry about the cancelled cycle, but sounds like the stars are aligned for "natural" conception this month. Really hoping you find success in this unexpected turn of events. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, RE, for setting you guys up so well. Praying this is "the end" - in a good way!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter - He is risen!!!
So sorry your cycle was canceled. But as others have said, you have an amazing attitude. Truly inspiring! All is definitely not lost, your lining and follies are perfect. I am hoping and praying with you that the Lords brings about your Christmas baby. What an amazing testimony it will be.
ReplyDeleteOh A, I'm sorry that things didn't go as you hoped with this ivf cycle. Your attitude is amazing and i hope you get a surprise bfp this cycle. Hope you had a happy Easter!

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about the cancelled cycle, but you truly have a great attitude about this situation. I pray that your "roll in the hay" gives you the miracle baby (or babies!) you so deserve!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you've had to cancel it, but it's definitely good news to hear that no hope is lost. Fingers crossed you won't need to consider IVF or anything else for about 9 months.
ReplyDeleteOh A, I'm so sorry about the cancelled IVF cycle. But it sounds like you made the right decision for you, and your attitude is just inspiring!! I know good things are in store for you, and I have everything crossed one (or both) of those follies sticks around and gets you that BFP regardless!!! Thinking of you!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you had to cancel, but I think your attitude is amazing! Thank God for loving and supportive husbands! Good luck with trying the old-fashioned way :).
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful being married to a supportive person? It makes going through this awful situation so much better!

I SO hope you are one of those that gets pregnant while waiting to do IVF. :)
