What?

Hello, dark red spot! At 12dpiui, no less, a full 3 days earlier than expected! I am stumped. I don't think it is quite CD1, but probably tomorrow, so I called my RE and scheduled an u/s for Monday. The nurse thinks they'll let us do another follistim IUI, even though we won't be available for monitoring next week (first monitoring will be on CD10)...I guess since my left ovary is a slacker and the most follicles I've ever had is three, they're not too worried about 10 popping up all of a sudden...

Move over turkey, make room for the follistim in the fridge!

Haha.

I am doing pretty okay. Bummed of course, but not devastated or feeling like it's never going to work. I really do think that God will bless one of these cycles. I just have a peace about that, you know?

Now as far as trusting my gut goes, that is out the window ;-) What was I thinking? Haha!

Mr. A said to ask the doc if we can step it up a notch. I told him the next notch is IVF ;-) I think we would have specific requests for IVF, if we go there, as far as quantities go, so we're really going to have to do some soul searching as far as that goes. Has anyone ever read "Christians and IVF: Wise Choices and Life-Affirming Options"? I haven't, but I'm thinking it may be a good purchase. Of course I'm praying God will bless us in the upcoming cycle!

Yuck. I'm sorry AF decided to show. I really thought your symptoms were RPS! Hopefully next cycle is THE ONE and you don't even have to think about IVF.

Oh no, I'm sorry, A. Things were sounding so positive for this cycle. I hope next cycle is the one! It will work one of these times!

I also have some very big concerns about IVF...let me know if you read the book you mentioned and what you think of it.

Oh dang it! I'm so sorry. We've had a rough month as well. My problem is, I have not even ovulated yet, it's CD 27. Maybe it will come this weekend on our anniversary, that would be neat! I'll be checking in on your next cycle. Hopefully it gets moving right along quickly.

This blows! I'm sorry AF is showing up.....yet again! You are in my thoughts, and I'm wishing the best next cycle! If not, maybe we'll be doing IVF together.....

Sooooo sorry! I admire your positive attitude and that you sound so at peace. You encourage me! I hope you do read that book bc I'd love to hear what you think. I'm reading Baby Hunger: Biblical Encouragement for Those Struggling with Infertility. It is awesome! I'm going to be posting a review this week.

I really admire your composure and your optimism so much. I'm sorry this cycle didn't work for you - but have faith in the long term, and don't give up hope!

What a bummer. I am so sorry to hear this. Hey, at least you now know what it's all about and can decide if you want to go it again! Maybe the first time was just too nerve-racking.

oh geez! i'm sorry. MAJOR bummer... i've never read that, but we had some of the same thoughts (i'm thinking you and i and our DHs had some of the same thoughts) about egg quantity/freezing/destroying etc... i'll just keep praying this next cycle will be the ONE for you so you don't even have to worry about it!
