Trigger last night (9:30pm) went smoothly- but now I'm worried that I'm going to ovulate before the ER tomorrow at 8:15am. Not that I think I usually ovulate earlier than the "normal" 36 hours post-trigger (and we made sure to cover our bases last night before the trigger), but you know, timing is very important this time around!!! No busting through the gate early, eggies!!

But really, I'm not that worried. We are both very excited about our baby(s)! We even were talking about them last night at dinner! We are hoping and praying they will be here this time!! We know it is still ultimately in God's hands as to what happens the upcoming days, and we still have a great feeling about it. (Although we acknowledge that nothing is guaranteed, but we are really trying to focus on the possibility that God will bless us with our baby this way!!) I get teared up thinking our little ones will probably be "here" by Mother's Day!

I had these grand plans of making ravioli's and other prepare-ahead dinners for Mr. A and I, before the ER and ET. Unfortunately, I haven't done anything ahead! And, we haven't gotten to the bank to get our monthly grocery cash, so I haven't even made the menu plan either! Ha! That is on my list of things to do this afternoon. Will I feel very bad the day after ER? Maybe I can go to the grocery store on Thursday... we don't like frozen dinners (even homemade ones) very much anyway- we're pretty spoiled with fresh dinners each night- but we also don't really like eating out all the time either, so I was just wanting to get some ingredients that are easy to combine, etc. when I'm resting after ET.

It feels weird not to do any shots today...

So anyway, we have to be at the center at 7:30am tomorrow, with it starting at 8:15am. How long will it be before we're headed home? Every time I get nervous about it, I remind myself that at every u/s this cycle, I've felt a tiny bit of nervousness beforehand but then the results have always been great!! So I'm feeling grounded and pretty calm in that I have never had reason to be nervous- God has this in control, and so far He has been blowing me away with how He has provided and allowed me to respond (relative to what happened last time)!! I pray it only continues!

Congrats on triggering!! I continue to be so excited for you and praying like crazy!

I'm sure everyone is different, but I actually felt really good after my ER. The drugs made me feel so relaxed, haha! Some mild cramping, but not even as bad as a moderate AF for me. I would think you'd be fine to go to the grocery store. :)

My clinic says you'll probably be there for 2.5 hours from start to finish...check in, set up, the procedure, and recovery. Can't wait to hear about it tomorrow!

My ER itself lasted about 15-20 minutes and I had a lot of eggs (38). The total time in the office was about 2 hours. Good luck tomorrow!

YAY for triggering!! I'm seriously so excited for you, and hoping for an amazing end to this already awesome IVF cycle!! And I totally remember thinking it was so weird not to take any shots the day after the trigger, like I missed them or something, hah! And I felt absolutely fine the day after the retrieval, I went to work so I think you'll be good for making some yummy dinners! Will be thinking of you tomorrow, good luck!!!

So exciting! I'm just sure that this one will work for you! I have several easy, quick, cheap, healthy meal ideas for sick days. Let me know if you want any ideas. Keep your focus and miracles will happen. Remember that Peter was able to walk on water ONLY while he was looking at and focusing on the Savior. The second he looked away and saw the waves, he sank. Look to Him, have faith, and miracles will happen!!!

I have been really sore after my ERs, so I would plan to be pretty lazy for tomorrow and the day after. Maybe you will be lucky and feel great, though!

Good luck!

I have been horrible at keeping up with new (to me) blogs but I saw your comment and wanted to be sure to wish you good luck tomorrow with your egg retrieval!! I'm sure you know to drink tons of water afterward but I will say it anyway. =) I hope you get lots of lovely, mature eggs that fertilize beautifully and result in some gorgeous embryos. I'll be thinking of you. You can do it!!

(and thank you so much for all of your supportive comments -- they really mean a lot)

congrats on your trigger! And don't worry. . . You won't ovulate early. Although I was always worried about that same thing. Can't wait to hear how the retrieval goes, and I hope you are feeling well.
