Responses pending....

Tuesday, April 05, 2011

I emailed my college "friends" about our baby this morning. No one has responded yet (I know, it has only been 2 hours....). I don't know what to expect more- no one to respond, for them to say hilariously insensitive fertile blathering, or for them to pretend like we have all been having heart-to-heart phone conversations once a week for the last 4 years.....

I will keep you posted. I am expecting that whatever their responses are, it will at least provide good blog material!!!

Oh gosh, I do hope they don't put their foot in their mouth with some sort of "see! I told you it would happen" sort of stuff.

Best of luck!

Oh girl, you are BRAVE! But at least you can see the silver lining of blogging about them. Haha. Let us know what happens! :)

Hi dear! We found her through friends who used her and ended up not needing her. We signed up on websites but found that personal recomendation was much more efficient. There are websites (care.com) that have local nannies and are easy to use and I explored that option but there were LOTS of people and little time to meet with them. Soo....we started asking friends and found out she had an "opening" for us. Works great......truly the BEST of both worlds to be home working and have someone come to you for care for the little ones. Saves time in the am for FUN not packing and rushing out the door and saves on cost, is more flexible....again! Best of both worlds!

Oh, I can't wait to hear what they say. They'll probably want to schedule a play date :)

My goodness. I wonder what they'll say. Please let it be something nice, or at the very least, not incredibly insensitive. But you're right, good blog material indeed.
