So at 9dp3dt, I decided to take the only test I have, and it was negative. Supposedly, according to the 3dt "what happens", HCG just got started yesterday, but come on. Tons of people get their BFP's earlier than 9dp3dt. I won't be testing again till beta on Thursday.

I don't really have any symptoms except for some mild cramping on and off, and some fairly noticeable bloating.

Against all reason, we're still hoping it could be too early and that we'll get a miraculous surprise. It'd be one of those things that is so cliche and perfect.....

....mostly because my Grandpa has just been diagnosed with pleu.ral mes.othelioma lung cancer and has been given about 2 months to live.

I mean, isn't that what happens? A close relative passes away and then there's a new baby?

Oh no, I'm so sorry, about the bfn and your grandfather.
I thought the same thing last summer when Hubby's mom died - I ovulated the day she died, and I kept thinking that of all the times to get a bfp, that would be fitting.
I'm still hoping you just have a slow starter in there! Will be praying for a miracle on Thursday!

I'm sorry about your grandfather. What a terrible diagnosis. I'm also sorry about the BFN. It could be too early. For the record, I started spotting with this LO on 10DPO. I'm guessing that was around the time of implantation for me. Assuming you didn't have any implantation until 8 or 9 days after transfer, it could well be too early to show on the test.

Super early to test so please don't get discouraged! I still have faith for you my friend. Hang in there. xxoo

I'm really sorry about the bfn. I know how much you had hoped to see those 2 lines. Maybe your beta will be different...it's not over until it's over.

And that's just heartbreaking about your grandfather. I'm so sorry, honey. I hope you get your miracle of life out of this situationn

I'm praying for you and hoping you'll hold out hope until your beta. It IS still pretty soon, so don't lose hope. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I attended a funeral the day I got my BFP- my husband reminded me of the circle of life.....

I'm sorry, but yes, it could definitely be way too early. Everyone's bodies produce HCG at different levels. Hang in there and keep the hope. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. You are right though, so many times we lose life and then gain life. My pregnancy came when my dear aunt passed away. The circle of life is so interesting.

So sorry. Don't give up hope just yet. 9dp3dt is early. I have heard by 11dp3dt you should get an accurate reading. I hope your next test tells a different story.

I'm sorry about the BFN and about your grandfather. I've only got one grandparent left and I don't know what I'd do if something happened to him. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry. Praying for you, your family, your baby, and your grandpa. Tell him what I just told my dad, "When you get up there, I expect you to pull some strings and get a baby sent my way!" Hang in there. Love, hugs, and prayers.

A lady I know tested on her OTD and got a negative both at home and in her clinic, she didn't get a period so she decided to retest after some days, and guess what, a Bfp! I so hope you get a surprise on thursday!

Will be thinking of you..hugs

I am so sorry about your grandfather. :(

I'm also sorry about the negative HPT. I just think that since you had a 4-cell transferred it may have just needed an extra day or 2 to continue dividing before implanting...hence a late implanter. I am continuing to hold out hope for you, and am praying!
