Report!

FINALLY!! My RE just called- out of the 5 eggs:
  • 4 were mature
  • 1 of the 4 mature ones had a protein coating or something? (have to research more about what that is really, or if I'm even understanding that correctly)
  • 1 is definitely fertilized and on his/her way
  • 2 are in the earlier stages of fertilization, so they can't quite tell if they're looking normally fertilized or not
SO, rejoice with me over our little one, and hopefully our other two little ones!!!

In my heart of hearts, I really wish the other two would have been as far along as #1, but my RE said they just do a spot check of them, and it's possible that they're fine and just got a late start or something, or the lab is looking at them from a weird angle. So I'll be praying that all three will be happy and healthy looking tomorrow!

And I know that ONE isn't exactly phenominal numbers, but God has brought so much good out of seemingly unfavorable conditions already this cycle, I can't imagine He'll stop now! (Nevertheless, His will be done...) Thank you Lord for allowing this little one(s)! Please bless them and keep them safe so we can meet them in January! ;-)

PS. We did my first PIO last night, and it was completely painless. Are we doing something wrong? Ha!

I am praying that all 3 are going to be ready! But if it is just the one, that one can turn into something perfect in every way. Thank you so much for your prayers. It means everything to me.

What wonderful news!! I'll be praying that the other 2 join right along with their brother/sister! And as far as the PIO in my case at least it doesn't hurt for about the first week. And then after that the injection site starts to swell a bit and so after that happens it hurts a bit more. Just make sure you ice it beforehand even if you don't think you need it. It helps!

Great news...as far as PIO I was surprised it didn't hurt either. I think they just have a bad rap...

Congrats on your embies! Make sure they let those other two grow in the dish a bit longer ... most of my embryos were slow, but my day-5 morula (should've been a blast by then) is one of my quad babies now, so you really never know!

I'm so happy for you!

Praying for your embryos ad praising God for the life he has created!! Isn't it an amazing thing to know you have an embryo at this moment and time?!

I didn't think the PIO hurt either. The injection site was sore the day after, the but the actual shot was easy for me.
