YOU MADE BAGELS? I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO MAKE BAGELS. You have to tell me how.

I'll spot you making frosting from scratch, though, that's easy (though you wouldn't think so from reading the Joy of Cooking!). There's a recipe on the side of the Hershey's cocoa box that works perfectly. All you need is butter (1-2T I think), cocoa (for chocolate frosting), powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.

Loved your 8 things! House Hunters is one of DH and my's guilty pleasures :)

Here's another frosting recipe for ya:
Cream cheese frosting is easy and delish -
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks; 6 ounces) unsalted butter, softened
3 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the confectioners’ sugar. Store in the refrigerator after use.

I made this for my sister's birthday cake, had some left over (a whole bowl full), and had to keep myself from spreading it on EVERYTHING - apples, waffles, celery (haha jj)

Okay, now I'm hungry!

Don't you just love these things? I'm usually a DWTS fan, but due to DVR conflicts I haven't been catching the latest seasons. My favorite has been Season 2 though...

Thanks for tagging me! This will be fun to do. Our travel wish lists will be very similar - the Grand Canyon is definitely near the top of my list as well.

I love this! I want to do it super bad, but I don't know 8 people to tag. As soon as I have more people to tag back I will do it. Thanks for thinking of me!
